Pokémon Video Game Showdown Pre-Game Setup Information
Pre-Game Setup
When a player arrives at a Qualifier Tournament, his or her game must be set up in a manner that will allow the tournament to proceed in a timely fashion.
- The 4 Pokémon that will be used in each round must be in the player’s party. No other Pokémon may be in the player’s party. Should a player decide to change Pokémon in his or her party after a round is completed, that change must be made before the next round begins.
- If a player will be using a held item on a Pokémon, that Pokémon must be holding it. Should a player decide to change a held item after a round is completed, that change must be made before the next round begins.
- Each player must have his or her game saved on the second floor of any Pokémon Center, in front of the Pokémon Communication Club Colosseum. This can be found on the far right side of the upper-floor of the Pokémon Center.
